I'm an artist. Drawing has been my passion since childhood, inspired by my mother and grandfather. While my siblings played, I sat for hours drawing. Practice, not innate talent, led to my skill surpassing peers. By the time school started, I was more advanced than most of the other kids. I wasn’t born with a talent like many say. I just had more of an interest in it than other kids my age.
Over the years, my work has been showcased on TV, in magazines, and apps. However, teaching others to draw has become my greatest joy. In 2020, I started my TikTok channel following my daughter’s recommendation. This led me to discover my true calling - helping others to fulfill their dream of being able to draw!
I receive messages every day from people who took the opportunity to get into drawing after viewing my content, and there is nothing that makes me prouder.
I understand how frustrating it is to think your work isn’t good enough to be shared. I’ve felt the lack of inspiration and discouragement that comes from comparing yourself to others.
