Hi, I'm Shane!
I'm an artist. According to my mother, I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. My grandfather had a big influence on me when I was young, and I was fascinated watching him paint. As a shy young boy, I sat for hours drawing while all of my brothers and sisters ran around the house playing. To me, the relaxing process of drawing is sometimes more rewarding than the actual art itself.Â
I wasn’t born with a talent like many say. I just had more of an interest in it than other kids my age. It took practice. A lot of practice. And the more I practiced, the better I became. By the time school started, I was more advanced than most of the other kids.
Over the years, I've created artwork that has been broadcast on multiple TV networks, published in magazines and children’s books, and even in some popular mobile apps. But nothing has been more rewarding than helping beginner artists develop their drawing skills.Â
In December of 2020, my daughter's encouraged me to start my TikTok channel. To my surprise, it exploded almost overnight. But what meant the most wasn’t the numbers—it was the reminder of why I started drawing in the first place.
Creating art has always been my escape, my joy, and my way of making sense of the world. Sharing it with millions of people has only fueled that passion and made me even more determined to keep creating.
