Hi, I'm Shane!

I'm an artist. According to my mother, I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. When I was young, my grandfather was a huge influence on me, and I found myself intrigued by watching him paint. As a shy young boy, I sat for hours drawing while all of my brothers and sisters ran around the house playing and often times fighting like siblings do. To me, the process of drawing can be more rewarding than the actual art itself. 

I wasn’t born with this talent like many say. I just had more of an interest in it than other kids my age. It took practice. A lot of practice. And the more I practiced, the better I became. By the time school started, I was more advanced than most of the other kids.

Over the years, I've created artwork that has been broadcast on multiple TV networks, published in magazines and children’s books, and even featured in some popular mobile apps. But nothing has been more rewarding than helping beginner artists develop their drawing skills. 

It wasn't until December of 2020 that I used my spare time to start my TikTok channel, following my daughter’s recommendation. Much to my amazement, it exploded almost overnight. That was the moment I discovered my true calling. 

I receive messages every day from people who had the opportunity to get into drawing after viewing my content, and there is nothing that makes me prouder.

I understand how frustrating it is to think your work isn’t good enough to be shared. I have felt the lack of inspiration and discouragement that comes from comparing yourself to others. 

Our lack of motivation often comes from simply not knowing where to start, or which path to follow. That's why I wanted to create a structured learning path and make sure that you are never alone from start to finish. You will have access to all the right tools and resources you'll need, and you'll join a community that shares your same passion, where the other students and I will be ready to help and encourage you, and answer any questions that may arise.

In life, great results come slowly with a lot of work. It is a matter of planting a seed and following it as it grows, not expecting a forest over night.

In this course, I try to teach you everything I have discovered and learned on my own in the artistic field and beyond, in the most engaging and fun way possible. Because remember, above all, drawing should be fun!

The course is divided into several sections, containing 10+ hours of video lessons and exercises. I recommend that you watch the videos in order, as the course has a sequential and logical learning path.
